Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Here is one for the Porsche fans. I really liked the orange on it with the blacked out wheels. It definitely caught my eye, looks good!

’64 Chevy Chevelle SS

This was a 2012 new model which I just picked up today. I really liked the color with the lines on it, looked very clean. Then engine popping out of the hood is cool too.

Volkswagen Kool Kombi

This is a very popular casting with collectors such as myself, therefor it’s very difficult to find sometimes. Anyways, they always seem to have some neat artwork on them, and the surfboards sticking out in the back just add to their awesomeness!

’71 Mustang Funny Car

For a basic car found in the mainline series, it’s more than great. This Mustang funny car is really heavy because it is metal/metal, including the entire engine that can be revealed if you raise the body. I got both colors cause it’s just that awesome, check it out!

Lotus Evora GT4 & Lamborghini Aventador J

Here are another two Hot Wheels modeled after some really fast cars! The Evora GT4 looks great in white with its stripes while the Aventador J looks just as sweet in plain yellow. But for me, I think I like the Lamborghini more!

Fiat 500 & Custom Volkswagen Beetle

Here are two relatively small Hot Wheels cars! The Fiat is a new casting for 2014 and it was kept simple, only red with detailed headlights and taillights, which I like. As for the Beetle, it has flames on it since it was from the Heat Fleet series back in 2011. The Beetle is also metal/metal which is always awesome, especially for a basic car.

The Tumbler

Here is a very popular casting, the Tumbler! As most would know, this car is from Batman, The Dark Knight trilogy. The matte black one is from a 5-pack while the the camouflage version can be found in the mainline series.

Jester

Here is an interesting casting, I’m not talking about the looks but how it was made, not that it doesn’t look interesting either. But, what about it that caught my attention? It’s how it has both a plastic body and a plastic chassis. Usually Hot Wheels only does one or the other, if not both, meaning usually at least the body or the chassis is made out of metal. But for the Jester, it’s neither. However, it does have metal in it or else Hot Wheels wouldn’t be able to label their cars as being die cast metal cars anymore. So the Jester has a metal interior (very unusual), metal truck bed, metal grill, and metal side parts (see pictures) which of course is all just one single piece of metal. Overall it’s pretty unusual, but pretty neat!

Greased Lightning (1948 Ford De Luxe)

Here is a 1948 Ford De Luxe. It was featured as “Greased Lightning” in the movie Grease, a movie most of us have seen at some point. This casting is from Hot Wheels’s Retro Entertainment Series and therefor it is metal/metal with real rider tires. Check out those sweet white walls!

Carbonator Keychain

Lately I’ve been seeing some Hot Wheels keychains people have been making by drilling holes into either the body or the chassis but I “made” my own by just using Carbonator and a carabiner. It may not look as professional but I still think it’s cool! I’m probably not the first to do this and there may be some other Hot Wheels this may work on but if you look at the pictures you can see how perfect it worked out. And also for the Carbonator, it’s absolutely perfect as a keychain because it can function as a bottle opener and a soda can opener, so it may actually be useful to carry around. Be sure to check out my other post on Carbonator!
